If you are chosen for a tulip season temporary position at Hat Trick Farms, it will involve the following tasks:

Parking Attendant: the parking attendant will be positioned near the road to direct vehicles into the parking area and help guests find available parking spots. It is the responsibility of the parking attendant to quickly and efficiently move the flow of traffic, whether it be coming into, or going out of the parking lot.

Ticket Scanner: located in our red shed at the tulip field entrance, the ticket scanner will use a cell phone to scan guest tickets. A guest's ticket is scanned via QR code. Ticket scanners can sometimes deal with lengthy guest line-ups. It is important to check in guests as quickly as possible. 

Bouquet Wrapper: in this position you would count the tulips picked by our guests, wrap them in floral paper and mark the number of stems counted directly on the paper. 

Cashier / Souvenir Shop: Cashiers process the payments for guest's flower purchases and any merchandise they select from our souvenir tent. All transactions are processed through a simplified POS (Point of Sale) system. All cashiers will process both cash and credit transactions.

Event Photographer: in order to capture photos and video of our tulip experiences and guests enjoying our tulip field in general, you may be asked to capture moments using a cell phone. No professional photography skills are required.

Each task listed above is not a separate job position, but are tasks that any worker during the tulip season may be asked to do.

All tasks listed above require long periods of standing.
